    FUEL/RANGE area

    This area has two information.

You can choose whether to display the FUEL (fuel gauge) or RANGE (available driving distance).

    To change the FUEL mode:

    FUEL

When remaining fuel is below approximately 3.8 L (1.00 US gal, 0.84 Imp gal), FUEL is automatically switched to RANGE.

If the fuel gauge indicator flashes in a repeat pattern or turns off:

    NOTICE

You should refuel when the reading approaches the 1st (E) segment. Running out of fuel can cause the engine to misfire, damaging the catalytic converter.

    RANGE

Displays the estimated distance you can travel on the remaining fuel.

The indicated available driving distance is calculated based on driving conditions, and the indicated figure may not always be the actual allowable distance.

Display range: 999 to 5 km (999 to 3 mile)

  • “mile” is for ED type only.
  • Initial display: “---” is displayed.
  • Above 999 km (mile): “999” is displayed.
  • When the available driving distance is below 5 km (3 mile) or remaining fuel is below 1.0 L (0.26 US gal, 0.22 Imp gal), “---” is displayed.

  • When “---” is displayed except for the above-mentioned cases, go to your dealer for service.
