PGM-FI (Programmed Fuel Injection) malfunction indicator lamp (MIL)

Comes on briefly when the ignition switch is turned to the (On) position.

If it comes on or flashes while engine is running:

ABS (Anti-lock Brake System) indicator
  • Comes on when the ignition switch is turned to the (On) position.
  • Goes off when your speed reaches approximately 10 km/h (6 mph).

    • If it comes on while riding:

    Honda SMART Key Indicator
  • Comes on when vehicle and Honda SMART Key verification is complete, and the ignition switch can be operated.
  • Goes off when the ignition switch is turned to the (On) position.

    • When the Honda SMART Key indicator flashes:

    Neutral indicator

    Comes on when the transmission is in Neutral.

    Torque Control OFF Indicator

    Comes on when the Torque Control is turned off.

    Torque Control indicator
  • Comes on when the ignition switch is turned to the (On) position. Goes off when your speed reaches approximately 5 km/h (3 mph) to indicate Torque Control is ready to work.
  • Blinks when Torque Control is operating.
