Other Adjustments

Adjusting the Rear Suspension

Adjusting the suspension requires a pin spanner. We recommend that you have your vehicle serviced by your dealer.

Spring Preload

You can adjust the spring preload by the adjuster to suit the load or the road surface.

Use a pin spanner to turn the adjuster.

The standard position is 2.

Turning to the position 1 decreases spring preload (soft), position 3 to 5 increases spring preload (hard).

NOTICE

Attempting to adjust directly from 1 to 5 or 5 to 1 may damage the shock absorber.

Do not turn the adjuster beyond its limits.

Adjust both left and right shock absorbers to the same spring preload.
