Riding mode

You can change the riding mode.

The riding mode consists of the following parameters.

The level of each parameter changes according to the selected riding mode.


P: Engine power output level

EB: Engine brake level

T: Torque control level

ABS: ABS mode

Riding mode has 6 modes.

Available riding modes: [STANDARD], [SPORT], [RAIN], [GRAVEL], [USER 1] and [USER 2]


STANDARD : Standard, all-round mode for a variety of situations.

SPORT : This mode is suitable for sports riding. You can feel the higher engine response compared to STANDARD.

RAIN : Good for stable riding on slippery surfaces such as rainy conditions.

GRAVEL : Suitable for enjoying flat dirt riding.

Notes:

*1 : Level can be changed.

*2 : If off is selected, the level will change to 2 the next time the ignition is turned on.


P level (Engine power output level)

P level has four setting levels.
Available setting range: 1 to 4

  • Level 1 has the least power.
  • Level 4 has the most power.

  • EB level (Engine brake level)

    EB level has three setting levels.
    Available setting range: 1 to 3

  • Level 1 has the weakest engine braking effect.
  • Level 3 has the strongest engine braking effect.

  • T level (Torque control level)

    T level has five setting levels or can be turned off.
    Available setting range: 1 to 5, or Off

  • Level 1 is the minimum Torque Control level.
  • Level 5 is the maximum Torque Control level.
  • Off deactivates the Torque Control.
  • If the electrical system is turned from off to on while the T level is set to Off, the T level is automatically set to 2.

  • ABS (ABS mode)

    ABS (ABS mode) has two setting levels.
    Available setting range: ON ROAD or OFF ROAD

    The ABS function on rear wheel can be turned off.

  • Stop the vehicle.
  • Press the MODE switch with the throttle fully closed.

    Setting the riding mode

    You can change the P, EB, T and ABS levels on the USER of the riding mode.


  • Stop the vehicle.
  • Select the USER 1 or USER 2 riding mode.
  • Press and hold the MODE switch until the parameter setting is displayed in the selectable area.
  • Parameter setting

  • Select the desired parameter and setting level.
  • To select the parameter, push the sel switch in the direction of or .
  • Press on the sel switch to select the setting level using or on the sel switch.
  • T level can be changed to 0 (off) by pressing and holding on the sel switch while selecting the T parameter.
  • You can turn off the ABS function on the rear wheel by pressing and holding on the sel switch while the ABS level is OFF ROAD and select “YES.”
  • Press and hold the MODE switch until the parameter setting is hidden in the selectable area.

  • You can also change the levels on the USER of the riding mode in the setting mode of the instruments.
