Adjusting the Front Suspension

Spring Preload

NT1100A/D

You can adjust the spring preload by the adjuster to suit the load or the road surface.

Turn the adjuster using the BFR adjuster provided in the tool kit.

The spring preload adjuster has 20 turns. Turn clockwise to increase spring preload (hard), or turn counterclockwise to decrease spring preload (soft).

NT1100A

The standard position is the 7 turns turns from the full soft position.

NT1100D

The standard position is the 10 turns turns from the full soft position.

Adjuster BFR adjuster

NOTICE Do not turn the adjuster beyond its limits.

Damping

NT1100DE

When the riding mode is changed, front suspension damping is automatically selected to a setting corresponding to the riding mode.

You can change the [S] [Overall] and [Front] on the [USER 1 MODE] and [USER 2 MODE] of the riding mode.

Available setting range:

[Overall]: [H] Hard / [M] Medium / [S] Soft

[Front]: [-]/[Medium]/[+]

Default:

[Overall]

[USER 1 MODE]: [M] Medium

[USER 2 MODE]: [S] Soft

[Front]: [Medium]
