Open

  • Make sure that the Honda SMART Key is activated and enter the operating range for the vehicle.
  • Push the seat opener switch.
  • Pull up the rear of the seat.

  • Close

    Push down the rear of the seat until it locks in place.

  • Make sure that the tab is locked securely in position to pull up the rear of the seat lightly.
  • Take care not to store the deactivated Honda SMART Key and emergency key in the any compartment.

  • Never exceed the maximum weight limit.

    Maximum Weight: 5.0 kg (11.0 lb)

  • Do not store any items that are flammable or susceptible to heat damage.
  • Do not store valuables or fragile articles.

  • A helmet can be stored in the luggage box.

    Set in the front of the helmet upward.

  • Some helmets may not fit in the compartment due to their size or design.

  • Tool Kit

    The tool kit is stored in the luggage box by the rubber strap.

    Helmet Holder

    The helmet holder is located under the seat.

    A helmet set wire is in the tool kit.

  • Use the helmet holder only when parked.
  • Opening the seat

    Riding with a helmet attached to the holder can interfere with your ability to safely operate the vehicle and could lead to a crash in which you can be seriously hurt or killed.


    Use the helmet holder only while parked. Do not ride with a helmet secured by the holder.


    Fairing Pocket

    Never exceed the maximum weight limit.

    Maximum Weight: 0.3 kg (0.66 lb)


    Open

    To open the fairing pocket, pull the fairing pocket lid.

    Close

    Push the fairing pocket lid until it is firmly closed.

  • Do not store valuables or fragile articles.
  • Make sure the fairing pocket is closed before riding.
  • Be careful not to flood this area when washing your vehicle.
