II ED, II TH, II V type

You can change the speed and mileage meter unit.

Do not operate the display functions for a long time with the motor inactivated. It may result in a low (or dead) 12 V battery.

If more than 7 days have passed since the power switch was turned off or if the 12V battery was removed, it will take some time for the display to appear.

  • Odometer [TOTAL]

    • Total distance ridden.

  • Power limitation indicator

    • When the power limit is about to be applied, the power limitation indicator flashes and comes on when the power is limited.

  • The power is limited in any of the following cases. The motor performance declines, but you can still drive. The indicator automatically goes off when power limitation is no longer necessary.
  • If the PCU or motor is very hot
  • If the battery for motor is either very hot or very cold
  • If the remaining charge for the batteries for motor is low

    • When the indicator comes on

    When the indicator lights on an upslope

    When the indicator lights on below 0 °C

  • System fail indicator

    • Comes on when the system is fail.

    When the indicator comes on

  • Battery for motor temperature indicator

    • Comes on when the battery for motor is very cold.

  • SPORT mode cannot be used when the battery for motor temperature indicator is on.
  • High beam indicator
  • READY indicator

    • Comes on when driving is possible and when you are driving.

  • PUSH START/READY indicator (Honda RoadSync Duo area)

  • Clock (12-hour or 24-hour display)

    • To set the clock:

  • Battery for motor gauge (bar/number)

    • Use the and on the 4-way key/switch () to select between the home, navigation system, and trip meter.

  • Navigation can be displayed after start navigation.
  • When current trip “------” is displayed, go to your authorised dealer for service.

    • PUSH START/READY indicator


    PUSH START indicator

    Flashes if the motor can activate when the power switch is in the (On) position.

    When the PUSH START indicator does not flash


    READY indicator

    Comes on when driving is possible and when you are driving.

    At 0 km/h or higher, the READY Indicator turns off.


    Available driving distance (Range)

    Displays the estimated distance you can travel on the remaining charge for the batteries for motor. The indicated available driving distance is calculated based on the driving conditions and may not always be the actual available driving distance. Also, indicated available driving distance may differ significantly from the actual value depending on the slope of the road, loading conditions, temperature, and driving mode.

    Display range: 99 to 0 km (62 to 0 mile).


    When “--” is displayed, go to your dealer for service.


    Battery for motor gauge (bar/number)

    The remaining charge for the batteries for motor appears.

    The remaining charge indicates the charge in whichever of the batteries is the lowest, either the front battery for motor or the rear battery for motor.

    How the bar and number in the battery for motor gauge decrease differs depending on the operating environment and how you drive. When they decrease, you must charge your vehicle.

  • If the remaining battery charge for either the front battery for motor or the rear battery for motor falls below 0%, you will not be able to drive your vehicle.
