By connecting your smartphone to both a Bluetooth® headset and the vehicle via Bluetooth®, you can use voice features for the navigation system, audio, and phone calls.

Furthermore, by connecting the vehicle to the internet via Wi-Fi, you can update the vehicle's software.

  • To use the system, you need to install the dedicated application on your smartphone beforehand and pair your smartphone with the vehicle and the headset.

    Using the Honda RoadSync Duo while riding can take your attention away from the road, causing a crash in which you could be seriously injured or killed.


  • Do not operate the display while staring at it during riding.
  • Be especially cautions when crossing intersections, in heavy traffic, etc.
  • Carefully observe the roadway, signs, and signals.
  • Obey traffic laws while riding.

  • When operating the navigation system, please stop the vehicle in a safe place.

    Due to traffic information, road construction or closures, detours, or outdated maps, an inappropriate route may be suggested.

    Pay attention to actual road signs and signals and verify route guidance information with the understanding that the system has limitations.

    Always use your own good judgement, and obey traffic laws while riding.

    Pairing your smartphone via Bluetooth®

    Make a Bluetooth® pairing after stopping your vehicle at a safe place.


    Confirm your smartphone has the dedicated application.

    Only one smartphone can be connected at the same time.

    To connect other smartphone, disconnect the Bluetooth® pairing.


    If the 12 V battery is low on charge, charge it before pairing.


  • Push the “Menu down” switch until setting mode is displayed.
  • Select the “Bluetooth” by the 4-way key/switch.
  • Select “Pair new phone” by the 4-way key/switch.
  • Select “I have the app” by the 4-way key/switch.
  • Read the QR code with the smartphone application.
  • For operation of the application, follow the instruction of the application.
  • Confirm that displayed number on your smartphone and meter are matched and press “Pair.”
  • Follow the instruction of the application, finish pairing.
  • When pairing is complete, “Paring Complete” will be displayed.
  • If you failed to pair, “Couldn't find device” will be displayed, and then the pairing standby state ends.
  • Perform b to f again.

    Disconnecting your smartphone via Bluetooth® and forgetting pairing record

    Make disconnect/forget operation after stopping your vehicle at a safe place.


  • Push the “Menu down” switch until setting mode is displayed.
  • Select the “Bluetooth” by the 4-way key/switch.
  • Select connected smartphone from “Devices” by the 4-way key/switch.
  • Select the “Disconnect” or “Forget this device” by the 4-way key/switch.
  • If you select “Disconnect,” connection between the smartphone and vehicle is disconnected.
  • If you select “Forget this device,” smartphone pairing record is deleted.
  • Connecting your smartphone via Wi-Fi

    Connect your smartphone after stopping your vehicle at a safe place.


    If the 12 V battery is low on charge, charge it before connecting.


  • Push the “Menu down” switch until setting mode is displayed.
  • Select the “Wi-Fi” by the 4-way key/switch.
  • Turn on “Wi-Fi” by the 4-way key/switch.
  • Network searching starts.
  • Turn on the personal hotspot on your smartphone.
  • Select network you want to connect by the 4-way key/switch.
  • Select “Connect” by the 4-way key/switch.
  • Input password by the displayed keyboard using the 4-way key/switch.
  • When you complete inputting, it displays a message indicating that the connection is in progress.
  • When smartphone is connected, it displays “Connected.”
  • If it failed to connect, perform d to f again.
  • Disconnecting from Wi-Fi

    Make disconnect operation after stopping your vehicle at a safe place.


  • Push the “Menu down” switch until setting mode is displayed.
  • Select the “Wi-Fi” by the 4-way key/switch.
  • Turn off “Wi-Fi.”
  • Forgetting Wi-Fi connection record

    Make disconnect/forget operation after stopping your vehicle at a safe place.

  • Push the “Menu down” switch until setting mode is displayed.
  • Select the “Wi-Fi” by the 4-way key/switch.
  • Select connected network from “Networks” by the 4-way key/switch.
  • Select the “Forget this Network” by the switch.
  • Network connection record is deleted.
  • Software Updates

    “1 Update” is displayed in Pop-up area when vehicle receives information about software update.

    Update software after stopping at a safe place.


    If the 12 V battery is low on charge, charge it before updating.

    1 Update

  • Connect internet via Wi-Fi.
  • Activate the motor.
  • Press “Down action” switch to display detailed Pop-up information.
  • Press the switch to display update contents.
  • Press the 4-way key/switch to start download.
  • If you select “Explore New Features,” it displays detailed Pop-up information.
  • If you turn the power switch to (Off) position, download will be interrupted or cancelled.
  • Download resume when you turn the power switch to (On) position.

    Depending on the download status, it may start from beginning.

    Download does not proceed while the power switch is (Off) position.

  • Press the 4-way key/switch to start install.
  • If you turn the power switch to (Off) position, install will be interrupted or cancelled.
  • Download resume when you turn the power switch to (On) position.

    Depending on the install status, it may start from beginning.

    Install does not proceed while the power switch is (Off) position.

  • When install is finished, display automatically changes to ordinary display.
  • Press the switch to reboot the vehicle.
