Battery for Motor

Please use the batteries for motor specified by Honda for your vehicle.

Do not use the batteries for motor for anything other than your vehicle.


Follow the instruction manual for the batteries for motor when handling the batteries for motor.

Installing and Removing the Batteries for Motor

Do not subject the batteries for motor to excessive physical shock when you are installing or removing it. Doing so could result in damage to the batteries for motor or the vehicle.

Removing

  • Open the seat.
  • Slide the holder handle forward and remove the battery for motor.

    Installing

    Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

  • Before closing the seat, make sure the holder handle to its original position and securely fixed.

    • NOTICE

    Do not apply excessive loads to the holder handle. The holder handle could deform and result in a malfunction.

  • Use only battery for motor specified by Honda in your vehicle.
  • Do not directly touch the plugs in the boxes of battery for motor with your hands or metal objects, such as tools.
  • Install the batteries for motor securely in the correct orientation by aligning them with the labels in the boxes of battery for motor.
  • Confirm that there is no foreign matter in the boxes of battery for motor or on the battery for motor terminals.

    Installing the battery for motor while there is foreign matter in the boxes of battery for motor could result in smoke or fire, which may kill or seriously hurt you.


    Always confirm that there is no foreign matter, and remove any if there is. If you cannot remove it, do not force it. Contact your authorised dealer.
