If You are Involved in a Crash

Personal safety is your first priority. If you or anyone else has been injured, take time to assess the severity of the injuries and whether it is safe to continue riding. Call for emergency assistance if needed. Also follow applicable laws and regulations if another person or vehicle is involved in the crash.


If you decide to continue riding, first turn the power switch to the (Off) position, and evaluate the condition of your vehicle. Inspect for fluid leaks, check the tightness of critical nuts and bolts, and check the handlebar, control levers, brakes, and wheels. Ride slowly and cautiously.

Your vehicle may have suffered damage that is not immediately apparent. Have your vehicle thoroughly checked at a qualified service facility as soon as possible.

If a crash severely damaged your vehicle, there is possibility of electrical shock. Do not touch the high voltage system components or their wiring (orange and purple colour).


  • Avoid contact with battery for motor fluid.
  • The battery for motor fluid may leak as a result of a severe crash. Avoid any skin or eye contact with the fluid.
  • The battery for motor fluid is corrosive. If you accidentally touch it, flush the affected area(s) with a large quantity of water for at least five minutes, and seek medical attention immediately.

  • Use a fire extinguisher for an electrical fire.
  • Attempting to extinguish an electrical fire with a small quantity of water can be dangerous.

    Since high voltage is applied to the battery for motor of this vehicle, if you make an incorrect response when an accident occurs, it may cause an unexpected accident, resulting in death or serious injury.
