Electric Vehicle Does Not Drive

When the Display Does Not Appear Even When You Put the Power Switch in the (On) Position

If the display does not appear, the 12 V battery may be dead. Have your authorised dealer inspect or replace the 12 V battery.

When the Standby Indicator Does Not Flash

Check the following items:

  • Make sure the seat completely closed
  • Make sure the side stand is up.
  • Make sure the throttle completely closed.
  • If the problem continues, have your vehicle inspected by your authorised dealer.


    Motor Does Not Operate

    Check the following items:

  • Is there any charge remaining for the battery for motor?
  • Is electric system indicator flashing?
  • If it is flashing, contact your authorised dealer immediately.
  • If the problem continues, have your vehicle inspected by your authorised dealer.

    When “hot” or “cold” is Flashing

    If an abnormal temperature is detected, “hot” or “cold” flashes to preserve the PCU or motor. The power is limited, but you can still drive. When the specified temperature is reached, “hot” or “cold” goes off and the power limitation is cancelled.

  • If the READY indicator goes off, you cannot drive your vehicle.
  • Turn the power switch to the (Off) position, wait a little while, and then turn the power switch to the (On) position. If the symptoms do not improve, contact your authorised dealer.

    When the Battery for Motor Gauge is Flashing

    Check the following item:

  • Is the battery for motor installed correctly.
  • When the Battery for Motor Indicator Comes On

    This comes on if there is an abnormality with the battery for motor.

    Contact your authorised dealer immediately.
