Activating the Motor
Activating the motor allows you to drive.
This vehicle is equipped with a motor drive cut-off type side stand.
The motor will not activate while the side stand is lowered. Always put the side stand up before activating the motor.
The motor will stop if you try to use the side stand while the motor is running.
NOTICE
If the vehicle is over-turned, you must first turn the power switch to the (Off) position and then inspect the vehicle carefully. |
Place the vehicle on its centre stand.
Lock the rear brake lock.
The motor will only activate when the brake lever is squeezed.
Turn the power switch to the
(On) position.
Check the standby indicator is flashing.
If the standby indicator is not flashing, the motor cannot activate.
When the standby indicator does not flash
While the throttle grip is completely closed, press the motor start button.
When the motor activates, the READY indicator comes on. You can now drive your vehicle.
Release the motor start button as soon as the READY indicator comes on.
