The ABS function on the rear wheel can be optionally turned off for off-road riding.
You can turn off the rear wheel ABS function in [OFF ROAD MODE], [USER 1 MODE] or [USER 2 MODE].
Each time the ignition switch is turned to the (On) position, the ABS function on both wheels will automatically be turned on [ACTIVE], but the ABS will maintain the rear wheel [CANCEL] off-function when engine stopped by using the engine stop switch.
Select [ON ROAD] of ABS mode [ABS], the ABS function on both wheels [ABS RR] will automatically be turned on [ACTIVE].
When changing the riding mode, the ABS function on both wheels will automatically be turned on [ACTIVE].
To turn off the ABS function on the rear wheel
Stop the vehicle and close the throttle completely.
Select [OFF ROAD MODE], [USER 1 MODE] or [USER 2 MODE] mode of riding mode.
If [USER 1 MODE] or [USER 2 MODE] is selected, select [OFF ROAD] for ABS mode [ABS].
Select the gold image display.
Select page 4.
Press the ENT switch.
Select [ABS RR].
Press on the sel left/right switch to select [CANCEL] (off).
Read the notice message.
Select [Yes], and then press the ENT switch.
Press the back switch.
The rear ABS OFF indicator is on, when the ABS function on the rear wheel [ABS RR] is turned [CANCEL] (off).
You can also perform the above settings by using the touch screen.
To turn on the ABS function on both wheels
Stop the vehicle and close the throttle completely.
Select the gold image display.
Select page 4.
Press the ENT switch.
Select [ABS RR].
Press on the sel left/right switch to select [ACTIVE] (on).
The rear ABS OFF indicator flashes several times, and then off, when the ABS function on the rear wheel [ABS RR] is turned on [ACTIVE].
Press the back switch.
