Do not use the motor stop switch except in an emergency. Doing so when riding will cause the motor to suddenly turn off, making riding unsafe.
If you stop the motor using the motor stop switch, turn the power switch knob 
/
(Off/Lock) counterclockwise to turn off the electrical system. Failing to do so will result in a continuous loss of battery power from the electrical system.
