Warning Indicators On or Flashing

Power Limitation Indicator

To protect the high voltage battery and other electrical system, the power limitation indicator come on and power is limited under the following conditions.

  • If the temperature of high voltage battery or other electrical system rise due to high speed riding, riding uphill, or repeated quick charging.
  • Pay particular attention to the following operations:

  • Do not keep the throttle open while braking.
  • When riding uphill, do not lightly apply the throttle as if braking to a stop.
  • If the vehicle temperature is below freezing.
  • If the SOC (State of Charge) is below 20%.

  • The power limitation indicator also flash before power limitation occurs to inform you that power limitation is imminent.

If the cause of the power limitation is resolved, the power limitation will gradually be released, and eventually the power limitation indicator will turn off and the power limitation will be lifted completely.
