Instruments

You can change the speed and mileage meter unit.

Do not operate the display functions for a long time with the motor inactivated. It may result in a low (or dead) 12 V battery.

Standard display:

  • Status bar
  • POWER/CHARGE Gauge
  • High voltage battery gauge (bar/number)
  • Selectable Speed Limit Assist display
  • Selectable area
  • Clock (12-hour or 24-hour display)
  • To set the clock:

  • Air temperature gauge
  • Maintenance indicator
  • Comes on when reach the next periodic inspection time.
  • Comes on when the high voltage battery is degraded.
  • Grip heater indicator
  • INFO area /Pop-up information
  • Riding mode indicator
  • It displays current riding mode.

  • PUSH START/READY indicator
  • Charging connector indicator
  • Comes on when the high voltage battery charging cable connector is connected to the vehicle.
  • Goes off when the high voltage battery charging cable connector is disconnected from the vehicle.
  • Speedometer
  • Deceleration power selector level indicator

  • When the riding mode is selected as SPORT, two other display types can be selected: BAR or CIRCLE.

    To change the display type:

    Display type: BAR

  • POWER/CHARGE Gauge

  • Display type: CIRCLE

  • POWER/CHARGE Gauge

  • While charging, meter is displayed following.

    Display sample: Using AC charging

  • Charging cable connector indicator
  • SOC (State Of Charge) limit
  • Charging current/limit
  • When use CCS2 DC charger, charging current is only display.
  • Time Remaining
  • Range
  • High voltage battery level meter

  • High voltage battery gauge (bar/number)

The remaining charge for the high voltage battery appears.

How the bar and number in the high voltage battery gauge decrease differs depending on the operating environment and how you ride. When they decrease, you must charge your vehicle.

  • If the remaining charge for the high voltage battery falls below 20%, the high voltage battery gauge number flashes and high voltage battery gauge bar is changed orange. If it is occur charge the high voltage battery as soon as possible
  • If the remaining battery charge for motor falls below 0%, you will not be able to ride your vehicle.
  • The high voltage battery gauge number may change in the following cases:

  • When the error in the remaining charge is corrected.
  • When the temperature of the high voltage battery changes.
  • Do not ride your vehicle when remaining charge for the high voltage battery falls very low on charge as this can cause deterioration.

    Status bar

  • Position light indicator
  • DRL indicator
  • High beam indicator
  • Status icons
  • Displays the status of the Honda RoadSync system.

  • System fail indicator
  • Comes on when the system is fail.

    When the indicator comes on

  • Power limitation indicator
  • Comes on an abnormal temperature on high voltage battery or other electrical system or low SOC (State Of Charge) on high voltage battery is detected, power limitation indicator comes on to preserve the high voltage battery and other electrical system. The power is limited, but you can still ride.

Flashes before power limitation occurs to inform you that power limitation is imminent.

When the indicator comes on or flashes

  • High coolant temperature indicator
  • Comes on when the coolant temperature becomes high.

    Refer to “Overheating”

    PUSH START/READY indicator

    PUSH START indicator

Flashes if the motor can be activated when the electrical system is turned on.

When the PUSH START indicator does not flash

    READY indicator

Comes on when riding is possible and when you are riding.

    POWER/CHARGE Gauge

    Battery discharge in progress:

The degree to which the high voltage battery is being discharged is displayed by the readings on the POWER side.

    Battery charge in progress:

The degree to which the high voltage battery is being charged is displayed by the readings on the CHARGE side.

    Standard display:

  • POWER/CHARGE Gauge

  • Display type: BAR

  • POWER/CHARGE Gauge

  • Display type: CIRCLE

  • POWER/CHARGE Gauge

  • Air temperature gauge

    Displays the ambient temperature.

Display range: -10 ºC to 50 ºC

  • Less than -10ºC: “---” is displayed
  • Above 50ºC: 50ºC flashes
  • 3ºC or less: is appeared
  • 5ºC or more: is disappeared

  • Road heat and exhaust from another vehicle can affect the temperature reading when your vehicle speed is less than 30 km/h (19 mph). It may take several minutes for the display to be updated after the temperature reading has stabilized.

You can select the display or hide the air temperature gauge.
