High Voltage Battery

Please use the high voltage battery specified by Honda for your vehicle.

Do not use the high voltage battery for anything other than your vehicle.

Always use Honda Genuine Parts to ensure reliability and safety.


Prohibitions for high voltage battery

Do not disassemble or modify the high voltage battery.


Do not place the vehicle in the following locations.

  • Locations where there is flammable gas or combustible materials.
  • Locations that are very cold or very hot, such as in direct sunlight or near a heater.
  • Parking in very cold or hot conditions will cause the high voltage battery to deteriorate faster.

  • Follow the rules below.

  • Do not puncture or deform it.
  • Do not use it if it is damaged or deformed.
  • If the high voltage battery is damaged or deformed, do not touch it. Contact your authorised dealer.
  • If you notice anything unusual, such as smoke or smells coming from the high voltage battery, stop using it.
  • If you notice anything unusual, move away from the vehicle, and then contact your authorised dealer.
  • If you are charging the high voltage battery, disconnect the high voltage battery charger, move away from the vehicle, and then contact your authorised dealer.

    Mishandling the high voltage battery could result in electric shock or fire, which may kill or seriously hurt you.


    Follow the procedures and instructions described in this manual regarding how to handle the high voltage battery.

    To preserve the high voltage battery life, fully charging before riding is recommended.
