12 V Battery Automatic Charge Mode

This vehicle regularly monitors the voltage of the 12 V battery.

If the voltage of the 12 V battery drops, the 12 V battery is automatically recharged from the high voltage battery, allowing the vehicle to start quickly after long-term storage.

  • After the electrical system is switched off, the voltage of the 12 V battery is monitored periodically.
  • Some electrical components may operate during recharging.
  • To protect the high voltage battery, do not store the vehicle for long periods with a low 12 V battery voltage.
  • If the SOC of the high voltage battery is low, the 12 V battery may not be recharged.

  • Recharging confirmation/cancellation

High voltage circuits are active during recharging. Recharging must be stopped before carrying out maintenance work.

To checking if recharge is in progress

While the electrical system is turned off, press the one direction of the sel switch.

  • If recharging is in progress, a caution screen will be displayed.
  • To cancel recharge

Turn the electrical system to the on and to the off again.

After 24 hours, the automatic recharging will be started.

After that if carrying out maintenance work, remove the 12 V battery terminals.
