Regenerative Braking OFF Indicator

The regenerative braking OFF indicator will come on and the regenerative braking will stop under the following conditions.

  • When the SOC(State of Charge) of the hight voltage battery is close to 100%.
  • When the hight voltage battery temperature is too high.
  • When the hight voltage battery temperature is below freezing.

    • The regenerative braking OFF indicator also flashes before regenerative braking OFF to inform you that the regenerative braking OFF is imminent.

    If the cause of the regenerative braking OFF is close to being resolved, the regenerative braking OFF indicator will flashes, Then the cause is resolved completely, the regenerative braking OFF indicator will turn off and the regenerative braking will activate.


    If you select the level 0 (Regenerative braking OFF) in the deceleration power selector, Regenerative braking will deactivates and the regenerative braking OFF indicator will come on.


    If the regenerative braking OFF indicator comes on with the torque control indicator comes on, there is a HSTC abnormality and the regenerative braking becomes off, have your vehicle inspected by your authorised dealer as soon as possible.
